One-Year Limited Warranty for Electric Unicycles, Electric Scooters, Electric Skateboards, and Electric Bicycles
Warranty Duration and Coverage
This One-Year Limited Warranty covers all defects in materials and workmanship of the Product during normal, everyday use in Canada and the United States of America for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase from Ride One Inc. If a defect covered by this warranty arises, Ride One Inc. will repair or replace the Product according to the terms outlined in this warranty. The warranty period starts on the date the Product is purchased from Ride One Inc.
Warranty Service Procedure and Eligibility
To be eligible for warranty service:
2.1 Your service request must be received by Ride One within the warranty period specified above, and your Product must be received by Ride One following the warranty service procedure outlined below.
2.2 Your Product must be purchased exclusively from Ride One.
2.3 You must retain the original purchase receipt and provide it to Ride One to verify your warranty eligibility.
2.4 This warranty outlines the services available to you if your Product requires warranty service.
If you encounter a suspected defect in your Product, please contact Ride One Inc. at (647) 249-7981 or at info@rideone.ca. Our customer support team is available to assist you in diagnosing and resolving any issues you may experience while using your Product. If the problem cannot be resolved, you may be entitled to warranty service under this One-Year Limited Warranty.
To submit your Product for warranty service, you will need to provide Ride One with (i) proof of purchase from Ride One; and (ii) the Product's serial number. After verifying your eligibility, you will need to provide your name, email address, mailing address, and phone number.
Shipping and Packaging
Proper packaging of your Product is essential, as improper packaging may result in rejection by shipping companies or delivery refusal at our locations due to unsafe packaging. You are responsible for any damage resulting from inadequate packaging during transportation to Ride One.
You MUST keep all original packaging of your Product to ensure safe repackaging for transport. Transportation regulations require specific packaging for lithium-ion battery-containing devices. Fines may be incurred if your device is shipped without its original approved packaging.
If you no longer have the original packaging, you may be able to purchase a replacement for a fee. Replacement boxes are not guaranteed to be available, and the customer is responsible for shipping costs for an empty box.
Canadian customers have the option to drop off their Product at our Toronto location at 13R Polson St, M5A 1A4
Repair and Replacement
An authorized service representative will inspect your Product. If Ride One determines that the problem is not covered under the One-Year Limited Warranty, we will notify you and inform you of service or replacement options available on a fee basis or return your Product unrepaired.
For eligible warranty claims, Ride One will repair defective Products with new or refurbished parts of similar style at no cost to you. Parts replaced by Ride One will be retained by and become the property of Ride One. For eligible warranty claims, Ride One will cover reasonable shipping charges for transporting your Product to and from an authorized repair facility. You are responsible for sending or dropping off the Product at an authorized repair facility. Ride One may also offer the option of self-repair and send the necessary parts for repair if the customer prefers to perform a warranty-covered part replacement.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty outlines the services available to you if your Product requires warranty service, and you may have additional protections under local laws. This warranty does not cover and excludes damage to your Product:
5.1 Resulting from abuse, misuse, neglect, or commercial
use.
5.2 Arising from use contrary to the owner's manual and other documentation or from engaging in extreme sports or exhibition use.
5.3 Occurring due to accidents, collisions, riding over obstacles, racing, fire, water submersion, high-pressure water spray, freezing, earthquakes, dropping, severe oxidation, or chemical solvent corrosion.
5.4 Resulting from unauthorized repairs by Ride One.
5.5 Stemming from improper packaging or mishandling during shipment to the warranty service provider.
5.6 That is cosmetic, including scratches, dents, and the removal of protective coatings designed to diminish over time, unless such damage occurred due to a defect in materials or from ordinary wear and tear.
5.7 Caused by using the Product with, or modifying the Product using, any third-party product, component, or accessory not sold by Ride One.

Ride One Inc. explicitly disclaims and prohibits any individual or entity from assuming any further obligations or liabilities on its behalf in connection with a Product, its components, accessories, service repair, or this One-Year Limited Warranty. Ride One bears no responsibility for any loss of use, inconvenience, or any other losses or damages resulting from defects in a Product, its components, accessories, or service repair, as well as for any incidental or consequential damages arising from such defects in a Product, its components, accessories, or service repair.
